The Colorado Coalition for Elder Rights and Adult Protection (CCERAP) promotes understanding of elder/adult abuse and the rights and protections available to elder and at-risk adults. CCERAP engages in the following educational activities:
• a statewide quarterly newsletter addressing issues of the
elderly and listing resources;
• a quarterly meeting that includes seminars and time for professionals working with elder and at-risk adults to meet and share information, to address policy issues and to develop strategies for increased service coordination; and
• the distribution of educational materials through their elder abuse video library and other educational programs on fraud and financial exploitation of the elderly.
CCERAP welcomes any organization/agency or person with an interest in senior issues to join them in their efforts to improve the quality of life to seniors in Colorado.
