The mission of Explore & Discover Center is to provide infants and toddlers (ages 12-36 months) with a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes exploration and learning.
This mission will be achieved by providing a day care center in the Highlands neighborhood, which will use the Reggio Emilia model for child development. In this model, children are encouraged to explore their environment and express themselves through all of their available expressive, communicative and cognitive languages.
This project includes a collaborative approach between the staff, the parents, and community.
