Founded by elite women wrestlers that are ready to give back to their sport, the National Women's Wrestling Association (NWAA) project develops and promotes opportunities for women wrestlers to better achieve their full human and athletic potential.

The National Women's Wrestling Association will increase the quality opportunities that females have to wrestle in age-group and college levels. Of special concern to the project is addressing the bottleneck that is currently occurring at the college level, where female wrestlers are facing limited academic options if they wish to continue their athletic careers. Providing these high school graduates the same breadth of options that their male counterparts and female counterparts in non-combat sports enjoy is simultaneously the right thing to do and a great way to wholly strengthen these young women.
