The Positive Project is a nonprofit endeavor to use the stories of persons infected/affected by HIV/AIDS to raise awareness, reduce stigma, promote prevention, encourage testing, enhance care, and improve quality of life. The Project interviews participants on film and adds their comments to a growing digital database available on line as a free public resource. The archive, with 150+ interviews, has become the largest video collection of HIV+ persons in the world. The archive is searchable by demographics, topics, or both. Information may be searched by "keyword" functions or by viewing groupings of video clips compiled for viewers for a range of education, prevention, and care efforts. Video clips may be viewed on line, or downloaded for a wide range of educational applications.
