The Positive Project explores the positive realities of living with HIV/AIDS. This is done by conducting personal interviews with persons living with HIV and allowing them to tell their stories and lessons on the positive aspects of their experience. The personal interviews are videotaped, archived, and ultimately used to teach care providers, newly diagnosed people living with HIV, and their families and friends. The Positive Project mission is to collect and utilize the stories of people living with HIV/AIDS, or affected by it, to increase public awareness, reduce stigma, and improve quality of care and quality of life through education and training.
