The Women's Lighthouse Project (WLP) provides women living with HIV and AIDS with a unique system of support through empowerment, education, advocacy, and a community of peers. The outcome is healthier, empowered HIV+ women, who are less isolated and more able to advocate for themselves and other women with the healthcare and social services systems.

Participants of the program are invited to attend a 16-week workshop series, which covers topics such as treatment options, women's health, safer sex, parenting, disclosure, nutrition, and complimentary therapies.

Graduates of the workshop, who are more educated and empowered, often become more active in community processes affecting women living with HIV and ultimately effect change in these systems.
