Nonprofit Support Services

 

Nonprofit Support Services provides high quality, reasonably priced administrative services and capacity building to Colorado nonprofits. The first service being offered is accounting and financial advisory services. Other services will be added in the future.

Support Services was developed to address the following issues:

• Growing requirement for financial transparency and
  accountability of nonprofits;

• Increasing sophistication, staff time and direct costs
  required to meet the administrative and financial
  management demands of operating a nonprofit;

• Funders receiving proposals that lack adequate
  financial reporting;

• Reporting that does not meet the needs of managers
   or board members in helping them effectively fulfill
   their respective roles; and

• Lack of one-to-one coaching or hands-on technical
  assistance available to managers or boards in
  administrative matters, including finance.

The above factors have put added burdens on nonprofit managers, which can divert attention from the mission. Support Services' goal is to partner with nonprofits to alleviate some of this burden while providing the reporting necessary for fundraising, management and oversight.
