Accounting Services

• Create and maintain chart of accounts.
• Record bank deposits.
• Process disbursements to vendors and employees.
• Record accounts receivable/billing activity.
• Record journal entries, for example, payroll and
expense allocations.
• Reconcile all asset and liability accounts.
Education/Capacity Building
• Provide one-to-one coaching with executive director
to increase financial literacy (e.g., how to read
financial statements, track expenses, manage grants
and contracts.)
• Provide financial management consultation to the
executive director and board.
• Attend a board meeting to explain financial reports to
the board and answer questions.
• Answer routine questions.
Reports Issued
• Monthly Statement of Financial Position and
Statement of Revenue & Expenditures that tracks
budget to actual.
• Monthly schedules, including bank reconciliation, fixed
assets and accrued vacation.
• Government reports as required by law, such as Form
1099.
• Grant spending reports.
• Cash flow forecast.
• Other reports defined by clients.
